Wall-to-Wall
Installation with wood, acrylic, magnets, video camera, projector, coded generative animation; length indefinite

Loosely arranged on a rotating pedestal, balsa wood models of wall studs form a provisional, unfinished structure. A video camera, mounted to the side, peers through the bare frames. Custom software translates the spaces the camera sees into colorful shapes and combines them to produce a continuously-changing projected image that suggests both a landscape and an architectural interior. By turning the pedestal or rearranging the walls the viewer can influence the projection in unexpected ways.
